Having always been an enterprising young woman since her teens, Pigi Plessa grew up on the island of Zakynthos where from an early age she contributed to the family business, Plessas Palace Hotel.
Pigi learned early on that visitors to her island book their summer holidays many months beforehand, i.e. early in winter, noting how important it is to be ahead of the game. While still holding the reins of the family business, in 2010 Pigi founded the online portal www.zantehotels4u.com to offer a more comprehensive and holistic experience to visitors, one that combines accommodation, transport and tours in competitive and attractive ways.
The internet crept into her life during her university studies, and since then she has taken decisive steps to develop her business online. In 2016 she successfully became a Google Partner which enabled her to monitor technology trends more closely and led her to realize that “taking advantage of google AdWords is just as important as having a website”.
