Private Tour Shipwreck and East Zakynthos

Trip Highlights

• Begin the air-conditioned bus tour at 08:30 am and catch the early morning light for some superb photo-taking with Zante’s salt pools and beaches in the background. Grab a fresh lemonade or orange juice on your way to jump-start the morning! 

• Admire the Zakynthos countryside before reaching Schinari Port, a picturesque seaside port where a private boat will take you to see Shipwreck Bay (the world-famous “Navagio” beach) and the stunning sea caves nearby. Swim for a about an  hour on this shimmering sandy beach and be one of the first to reach Shipwreck Bay before the crowds!

• Head out to the Blue Caves and let the boat take you in to snap some great shots inside the caves! You can jump off the boat for a dip in the bluest waters around the caves.

• Pass by the Shinari windmills, an amazing spot for snapping some really fabulous pics, and take in the gorgeous scenery of blue sea and green landscape.

• Visit a local micro-brewery to sample four different kinds of chilled beer (lager, white, dark and red). Discover how a group of British and Greek friends launched their dream brewery!

• Stop for lunch at one of the prettiest spots on the island, high above the Ionian Sea with a stunning view amid the greenery and a local menu that will certainly whet your appetite. We’ve already reserved one of the best tables in the house for us to enjoy this sumptuous meal.(lunch is optional)

• Pass by the Botega Café Museum to get a peek at Zante’s recent past, admiring traditional garb, discovering old customs and enjoying the vintage grocery store before heading back to the hotel.
