When here in Zakynthos talk about cosmopolitan place for young people, Beachbars , fun all day and night life then the first site that comes to mind is the Laganas . The beach could not be different. Beach umbrellas and sun beds, warm, sandy and shallow waters!
The Laganas connected to Kalamaki and together create a 9km long beach. Only Beachbars that open from noon and stay until late at night. Many times these bars organize and party on the sand, while there are also bars that only open at night. Young people from all countries prefer this beach for swimming, while most often spend their entire day there, starting with coffee and snacks and continue with drinks and loud music.

Next to Laganas, lies the region of AgiouSosti , if you want to sleep more soundly and have fun intensely just 2km. Kalamaki

Alykes - Alykanas
Two beaches that look and are adjacent to one another, covering all ages. Starting on Alykes area named after the pans from which they removed oldest salt and will even see today, you first encounter a road that leads to the beach of Alykes. It is full of sand, shallow, warm and sandy waters ideal for kids, umbrellas and sunbeds. It has a few Beach bars with coffee, drinks and snacks all day, while the security of the region and the sea, make it ideal for young children.
Walking through the sea or if you want to get back to transport your vehicle and drive to the nearby beach, swim and Alikes. Beach with thick golden sand, beach umbrellas and deckchairs, several bars and snack bar, allowing you to spend all day at the beach. Start early in the morning with coffee and breakfast, continue with a cold dish for lunch and spend even evening with a drink by the sea, without leaving the swimsuit and your summer mood! Young children also enjoy this beach. My own little friends when they ask you to go for a swim almost always choose Alykes and everything we make castles and walls in the sand. A beach filled with people, we select and we mainly on Sundays, for a bath in the world from around the world!
If you want to see both beaches and spend beautiful days and nights there, stay in Alykes , Zakynthos or choose an alternative site in the highlands of the island, surrounded by nature, the Agia Marina (7 km from Alykes) or Kalithea , a green village 4 km from Alykes and Alykanas , if you like to live in nature, but you are very close to the cosmopolitan beaches ... discover them!

The most cosmopolitan beach, preferring mostly young people, groups and couples, is Agios Nikolaos, in the area of Vassilikos , in Zakynthos , which is named after the church of St. Nicholas will certainly see where there are several weddings in the summer, with romantic seafront.
