Here you can hire a boat and visit Marathonisi, an islet part of Laganas Bay, with deep turquoise waters. Another alternative is to visit Cameo, a private islet that is connected with Laganas via a wooden bridge and it offers organized beach with sunbeds and umbrellas to rent and a beach bar, so that you can enjoy a refreshing drink or snack.

Laganas offers quite lot activities even for the most demanding ones. On Laganas beach you can try scuba-diving and observe the Loggerhead turtle in its natural habitat or arrange an excursion, with glass bottom boats, to Marathonisi. For the most adventurous ones, you can test your skills on the go-kart track in the main Kalamaki-Laganas road, whereas in Laganas main road you can find mini-golf, bowling and 5x5 football field. Last but not least, for those who are fond of horse riding, there is a choice of riding a horse inside a fenced area or around Laganas area.

Laganas Nightlife

During the summer Laganas turns into the party zone of Zante. The area is mostly known for its lively nightlife as it offers a great variety of clubs and bars with modern international music, that remain open until early morning hours. Many bars organize theme nights, karaoke, quiz and similar entertainment games. And for a different experience Cameo islet turns into a night club with two separate stages, one with Greek and one with international music. Laganas has it all!
